My Favorite Acrylic Paints

I love to draw and paint, but as much as I love it, my knowledge is limited to what I have learned through the years by reading and practicing. I'm one more person that went to school to study what my parents wanted, but in the way there I realized that even with all the nice attention I got because of the person I was going to become thanks to the chosen profession, I realized that is not whom I am.

So, here is a little of me while I tell you about my favorite Acrylic Paints.

Liquitex is a brand of acrylic paints. I discovered it one day when I went to my favorite art and craft store. I desided to try it because of the very convinient tube container and affordable price. As soon as I began to apply it on my canvas I felt in love with the vibrant colors.

Liquitex has two kinds of acrylic paint as far as I know.

1- Liquitex Professional Artist Acrylic Colors

2- Liquitex Basics Value Series Acrylic Colors

Liquitex Basics has been developed for students and artist in look for a great dependable quality acrylic paint at an affordable price. Each color is uniquely bright. It is a heavy body acrylic with a buttery consistency for easy blending. It dries to a beautiful satin finish, but if you prefere a glossy look you can always use varnish or glossy medium during the painting proccess of course. It is available in two categories:

1- Basics

2- Basics Matt

This two categories will fit a variety of applications and techniques.

- Mixable with other Liquitex colors

- Non-toxic

- Tube container, making it easy to squease the paint out and flip top cap.

- Great coverage

- Feels like using oil ike painting

Liquitex Basic Matt is a soft body acrylic paint with a smooth consistency for easy application and blending. I love using it for my portrait paintings but I still used the Basic (mentioned above) for the background.

 Now, Liquitex Professional Artist Acrylic Color

Liquitex Professional Artist Acrylic Colors has 3 different ranges of paint:

1- Soft Body

2- Heavy Body

3- Super Heavy Body 

This is all I can say about the professional series because I haven't  try them yet, but as soon as I do I will write here how did it goes. Until then...
